When plugging it in, /var/log/messages simply says:

I think so. The better would be to convert DVB api to docbook (as used
by all other kernel documents), and add a developers document for the
kernel API for both at the kernel documentation structure).
However, this is a huge task that someone should volunteer for doing,

Did an lspci -vvv and setting latency according to the cards needs (128).
Seems like all vpeirq: used 2 times >80% of buffer and i2c errors are
gone now, the i2c errors might have disapperaed when I rearranged the
PCI cards and pulled the PVR-150 board.
