Since I'm using MSVC 2013 to build KMyMoney Windows XP is no longer supported. I think it could be setup to target XP also but it means rebuilding the whole KDE platform and I don't have time to do that, plus XP is no longer supported by Microsoft so I wouldn't invest in that. Regards, Cristian 2

Certain folders are protected. For example "program files" you need admin priv's to write to that. If you decide to keep your data file in a write protected folder you are going to have issues. This mostly effects installations but poor user choices can effect it as well. The other thing is
