I tried on a different box running ArchLinux 32-bit, also with kmymoney-5.0.1,
and printing worked there, so it looks like its a Gentoo problem.
Looking further into the Gentoo EAPI stuff, it does inherit a debug
eport displays OK on the screen.
I then click on File>Print... or the Print... toolbar icon or hit Ctrl+P, and
the Printer selection dialog box pops up. Select "Print to File (PDF)", and
the dialog now offers /home/paul/print.pdf, which is fine, so I click on Print,
and it says print.
