Hi KMyMoney devs,
I've been studying the code base to gain a better understanding of the
KMyMoney model so I can contribute a fix for bug #378377 (Allow investment
accounts to include cash). I keep coming across code that flips a Sell
action into a Buy action on storage (and vice versa on loading)
? If so, your patch to fix the
bug is

I'm going to interpret the silence as no one in the current dev community
has plans to remove the restriction on investment accounts holding cash.

Hi developers,
I see some comments in the 4.8 branch code stating that the inability of
investment accounts to support a cash balance and transactions is a
temporary situation, suggesting that the restriction will be removed in the
future. Is this still the plan?
I ask because I'm looking at a Q
is prepended to the "Memo" field to
avoid data loss. This also impacts the XIn/XOut transaction types. Prior to
this fix the Description text was being discarded for the XIn/XOut transactions.
Thanks,
