You found the solution.
The "system" icon theme is empty. When I switch to icon theme "breeze" and
restart KMyMoney, I get all icons...
My issue was not that serious!

Hi Jack,
I played changing theme in the system. It did not help.
The only issue is that I don't have access to the list of choice for Shell (see
screenshot).
I tried to install the Gnome Shell extension but it did not wor
