While the program is frozen, does mythtv work ok then? Can you run mysql and
query the database, or perhaps just type "\s" to get some status information

Ok, I managed to compile and install 4.6.0. I can't test the bug in 4.6.0
because KMyMoney crashes reproducibly as soon as I try to open an account. Also

Actually, I can reproduce it. I repeated what I did completely:
My hierarchy from gnucash import is:
Asset -> Assets -> Current Assets -> blah
First, I moved Current Assets to Asset -> Current Assets
