Sorry I didn't mention that this is a new laptop which according to the forums
show that now who has managed to install Ubuntu onto the laptop cannot get the
touchpad working. I have tried v4.15 with no luck.
Are you able to help. I hate having to use w10 when I don't have access to a
mouse.

Joseph I am not sure I can test this kernel because I am noob in doing
anything with linux and this is also my working laptop so I can't mess
it up.
After I put the computer to suspend, the screen closes but the system is

freeze and don't run at all with Kernel 5.15.0-41. These programs run
consistently well in every kernel version I have used from the 5.4
