The problem is this command in /etc/kernel/postinst.d/kdump-tools exiting with 1: $ mkinitramfs -d /var/lib/kdump/initramfs-tools -o /var/lib/kdump/initrd.img-4.4.0-81-generic.new 4.4.0-81-generic mkinitramfs: failed to determine device for / mkinitramfs: workaround is MODULES=most, check: grep -
