FWIW, I seem to have the same problem after upgrading to Xubuntu 19.10 RC from ubuntu 19.04 today (Kernel 5.3.0), using a Thinkpad X395 (AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 3500U APU). The system seems to boot fine up to the login screen, but after login, the screen goes blank and the system apparently freezes. Setti
