I have HP Pavilion g7-1202er. After update from 3.13.0-24 to 3.13.0-27
(or 3.13.0-29.53) and reboot my notebook, unity not working (black
screen). Please, fix it.

after last update to vmlinuz-3.13.0-27, unity not worki
I have HP Pavilion g7-1202er, Ubuntu 14.04. After update from 3.13.0-24
to 3.13.0-27 (or 3.13.0-29.53) and reboot my notebook, unity not working
(black screen). I pressed CTRL+ALT+F1 and typed sudo apt-get update,
sudo ap-get upgrade, sudo apt-get dist-upgrade, reinstalled the driver
on my radeon-6
Upgraded today from 14.04.05 to 16.04.01 and I see the same error in
dmesg. PC is old, Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 4400 @ 2.00GHz. 4 GB
ram, display - geForce 650.

I had the similar issue on Lenovo T60 and T410 with OCZ Vertex 4. Ubuntu 14 LTS
failed to wakeup after suspend due to SATA link down error.
I have solved the problem by switching SATA compatibility mode from
"Compatible" to "AHCI".
Hope it helps somebody.

However, my laptop doesn't use Nvidia graphics; it's running on the
