No. On Ubuntu raspi the VFAT partition is mounted on /boot/firmware, not
/boot. There is something wrong with your system setup.

drivers in Impish and don't want to blow up the size of linux-modules.
As a result, some other non-essential drivers moved to the new package.

seems it's still an open issue? My understanding is that upstream
'fixed' this by reverting fw blobs in version 20210818. I can produce a
