Title:
10de:0652 [Samsung NP-R710-AT01NL] Nouveau freezes after
suspend/resume in Ubuntu 13.04 / 3.8.0
I experienced this bug as well. I did not run ubiquity, I ran firefox and it
froze after a few moments. The screen is frozen, and the mouse cursor is stuck
with the same cursor.
This was done using:
Lubuntu 14.04.2 (testing)
On a:

Also, I had some major issues with 13.04 and stuck with 12.04 because it runs

Public bug reported:
There are a myriad of issues with the nouveau driver in xenial.
For one, I cannot easily change the screen resolution to something useful.
arandr produces no nice resolutions.
Suspend ends up requiring a hard reboot.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 16.04
Package: linux
The worst part is the lack of a decent resolution.

It is related to another earlier bug, but with much worse resolution now

Desired Resolution: 1690x1050 (present with proprietary NVIDIA module)
Nouveau resolution: 640x480 (no other choices in arandr)
It is quite hard to work with such a resolution on such a large LCD :)
