Exactly the same issue on HP Probook 4530s. Fresh installation of Ubuntu Gnome
16.04.
Need to press to powerbutton too for 5 sec to shutdown the machine.
And it worked very well with Xubntu 14.04 before.

solved.
Note for random visitor: linux-oem-22.04 requires kernel modules to be
signed, so can't add custom modules, so it might not be for everyone.

Small addition:
perhaps not clear from above:
The most visable issue, no wireless interface shows up , neither with ifconfig
-a, nor with iwconfig (for rtl8188eu on 5.17 oem kernel)

Hi, you might want to have a look at the libnvidia-tls library
selection/hack, posten on

That prevented black screen/keyboard lockup for me (but after
downgrading kernel to 5.19 to avoid copy vbios error).

Hi, just a metoo report, owning a Lenovo T430, seen most recent with kernel
6.2.0-26-generic #26-Ubuntu
The Wifi hardware is still the original:
description: Wireless interface
product: Centrino Advanced-N 6205 [Taylor Peak]
vendor: Intel Corporation
Perhaps note that the wifi just works as it
Hi a meetoo on Lenovo T430 using AX-210 MPCIE version and have resume
issues with stock ubuntu 22.04, but i came to different workaround, by
disabling offending ucode. and used trial error until i found working
ucode.
in Short the result:
in /lib/firmware:
# ll iwlwifi-ty-a0-gf-a0-*
-rw-r--r-- 1
I downgraded from xubuntu 15 to 12 on a Sony Vaio and not only does the
wake up after suspend work, the system is faster too. I will stick with
v12 and disable the updates.
