I am now using a mouse, because the tochpad "decided" to quit responding. This

Update: after rebooting today the touchpad worked for a few minutes.
Then, in the middle of using FIREFOX, the pointer got stuck. I was
forced to connect the mouse.

Hi Matthew,
I am now on KUBUNTU 22.10 (on a USB drive trial session).
The i915 bug seems to have been fixed here.
I have no issues with PDF files on OKULAR.
Attaching outputs from DMESG and SYSLOG.
Maybe I should updrade to 24.10 ? Is it stable now?

I have upgraded the computer to KUBUNTU 24.10.
So far I have no issues with PDF files nor with the i915.
(There is an ACPI & BIOS error on DMESG and SYSLOG, but I see no effect on
