yes it's a trade off that we don't either want user get darkscreen when
then randomly plug display port for case like #38 or user get lower bpc on
their working display port.
So far, there seems no solid way to make sure both requirement.

I managed to boot with 5.8 kernel without problems. (on boot I do see
around dozen errors in the log, some mentioning ACPI and sof-audio).
With"options snd-hda-intel dmic_detect=0": Speakers work, internal mic list

occurred to me I might have an easier way to test the 944 while you
create the proper patch. Namely, I followed the same procedure as
before with the headphone patch, but right before I made the new custom

different though. I'm running 2 identical monitors at 2560x1440 120Hz.
Flickering affects both monitors simultaneously. As in they flicker at
