aren't loading, and we weren't sure what needed to change. We're happy to try

Run update-initramfs -u - System will return with "COMPRESS parameter
not set".
Now edit initramfs.conf again. Remove the # on COMPRESS=lz4, run again
update-initramfs -u.
It will close without any error. Reboot.

I just tested the Xubuntu Beta ISO and, from it, I was able to reproduce
the system crash.
Unfortunately I was unable to obtain any logs, as sshd was no longer
responsive and it was a live system.
