modesetting." was also reported in bug 1837945 where kernel / boot
parameter "amdgpu.dc=0" worked around an otherwise boot to black screen.
There, however, Linux versions 5.1 and 5.2 would also not work with this
parameter set.
I can find any but I know the time frame it happened. I will paste the
