On 16.04, now I can't even see the computer from another bluetooth
device (my smartphone).
Bluetooth is turned on and visibility is turned on. If I click on
"ubuntu settings..." there is no other setting (I thought maybe there
was something like "discoverability" that I should turn on).

have to look for these settings somewhere else, they should be under
Bluetooth settings), "receive files over bluetooth" is turned on and
"accept files" is set to "always".

Ubuntu 18.04 LTS for several linux kernel flavors (azure, gcp, hwe, kvm,
oem and stock) and a subset for Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

I am experiencing the same problem. When I boot with any other kernel
than 4.15.0-20-generic the internal display goes black after GRUB.
IMPORTANT: External display through USB-C works fine.
* Dell XPS 13 9350 Developer Edition.
* Ubuntu 18.04 (fresh install).
* Any other kernel than 4.15.0-20-ge
