I don't know which kernel version I did use in Xenial (initially I used
the normal one, the kernel installed by default, but then I installed
UKUU so couldn't remember, but I never had this problem with previous
versions of Kubuntu nor any other flavor of Ubuntu nor in any Linux
distro, for the cas
I fixed the slow booting problem by editing "/etc/hdparm.conf" and
changing "apm_battery" value to "255". Now my laptop boots normally on
battery mode (same speed as plugged in AC).
Now, for the AER problem, just ignore it. Add pci=noaer as kernel boot
parameter.

Tried both 390 and 396 versions of nvidia-driver, both fail suspend
resume. Tried Nouveau and resume works.
So suspend resume worked on nvidia-390 w/ kernel 4.15.0-20, possibly not
but probably with -22...

When closing the laptop lid, no events show up in dme
OK, now it dumps into the (initramfs) prompt but at least it doesn´t
crash just sitting at that prompt. any suggestions what to do once at
the initramfs prompt?
