Lenovo X220 unable to wlan aft
Oooh! I was just logging in to register that this bug also affects
me, and find there was a patch submitted yesterday! I'll try this out
when I get a chance and report back.
Just FYI, this bug only affects me following booting from USB. To fix
it, I have to disable the ASMedia USB ports from t
sudo modprobe -r brcmfmac && sudo modprobe brcmfmac also works for me on
my mac book pro running xenial mate edition.
Another note that if the laptop goes to sleep and wakes it may lose the
network interface. It appears as 'auto ethernet' when it's not
functioning properly.

Wifi Adapter Fails to come up
I tried Roberto's temp fix, this did not resolve my problem. also tried
it with networking instead of networkmanager. No dice.

thing as "Ubuntu mainline". Mainline is the upstream kernel. The Ubuntu
kernel is downstream from upstream. It's important to keep this in mind
as folks upstream will think you tested a different kernel then in
reality.

Tested with upstream Kernel from the URL proposed in comment 4.
When launching:
DRI_PRIME=1 glxgears
the screen turns black and the Unity session restarts.
Please see attached logs (even though I couldn't find any error in
it...).

I have 2 questions and hope you can help me understand:
1. ACPI loaded the 8 SSDT tables. I assume these equate to the ssdt1.dat
