After checking with kernel 4.2.0-16-generic again, I got the error too.
I have another server (same hardware) still running with 4.2.0-16-generic (not
updated yet) and the error doesn't show up, so I thought the update of the
kernel brought the problem. The servers hardware was completely exchang

I have a Late 2006 Mac mini that I recently installed 15.10 on. When I
try to suspend, it fails. It previously has 15.04 on it, and suspend
worked fine. Logs follow:

i don't see any errors in device manager. (which device would it be?)
the monitor and cable work fine with my other laptops.

None of the workarounds did anything for me.
But this fixed it (for me):
1. Power off your computer
2. Plug the device in
3. Power on the computer
4. The device will now be detected and working normally. You will also be able
to unplug and replug it without restarting.
