My last comment above was too early. I thought I had rebooted after
blacklisting "mei_me" and "mei" and encountered the same problem again,
but it might not be true. I've never met the failing resume after
suspend since I leaving the impatient comment #12 and strongly suspect
either "mei_me" or "me

Not a bug.
'/boot' was not remounted after suspend, so

On my Dell Inspiron 7537 the wifi is working very well on 3.16 (trusty),
however I experience frequent disconnections on 3.19 kernel (vivid).
After I get disconnected, no APs are visible by Unity wifi applet.
However, using wavemon to connect to a network "fixes" everything for

As MainlineBuilds page says, I needed to remove virtualbox to upgrade to
latest upstream kernel, but I would like to use it.

I would be willing to run the kernel from it if I can obtain it
somewhere. It takes about a day to reproduce the problem. The first
symptom are things randomly crashing (google-chrome, for example) and
then not too long after I see messages about pte problems.

Just run "apport-collect 1462761" in Terminal using external mouse/keyboard in
Ubuntu 14.04, 15.04 or 15.10
I'm getting errors, maybe you'll be luckier.
I had the same issue after the 15.04 update (3.19.0-21-generic).
There is a workaround: In Network manager, set the ethernet connection's
MTU value from automatic to 8192. This worked fine for me (from
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=70761).
