Christopher, I update the BIOS, but the problem remains. After updating the BIOS from Windows, I booted Ubuntu normally. When I close the laptop lid, Ubuntu goes to suspend. When I wake it from suspend -- the fan goes crazy again and the sensors give the above mentioned output. This is the output
