I have the same problem with 3.13.0-46.
The P9D-X mobo simply does not power off if WoL is enabled.
I tried to go back to 0-45 and 0-44 but they all show the problem.
The last working kernel is 3.13.0-43.
We are now 3 kernel later and the problem is still there.

supported by the kernels vmlinuz-3.13.0-45-generic and
vmlinuz-3.13.0-46-generic used in Kubuntu 14.04, but is supported by the
older kernel vmlinuz-3.13.0-41-generic. The correct screen resolution
1366x678@60.

I sent Xorg.0.log in my first message. Do other logs are needed? I

/home fails to mount at boot for some reason: "The disk drive for /home
is not ready yet or not present. Continue to wait; or press s to skip
mounting or M for manual recovery." The workaround appears to be to
delete all LVM sna

My XPS13 running 14.04 always looses it's USB ports (it has only 2 USB 3.0
ports) after resume from suspend. Reconnecting USB devices doesn't help. But

I had enconntered this same issue. I am not quite sure if it's CONFIG_*
option not enabled or else however I was able to remedy the issue by
adding 'swapaccount=1' to the kernel line. That in turn enabled
memory.memsw.* options in cgroups. Hope this helps you.

up a 7-port USB 3.0 hub that uses GenesysLogic 3520 (maybe 3521)

I suspect I have a very similar problem.
have Lubuntu 14.04 x64 installed on a Amilo A1650G and experience regular full
freeze of the system.
running with power suply or battery makes no difference. the freeze
always takes place between 10 and 30 minutes. the whole system is
paralyzed. o
almost forgot:
exact same behavior with Manjaro (arch derivative).
win xp x64 Professional on same system run without problems.
guess so this is a kernel problem?
