No, suspending via the system dialog results in normal behavior.

Hi Christopher, thanks for your help. I updated the BIOS, and the bug remained
the same. The output of sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s
bios-release-date is now:

My shame: I found very strange I couldn't get ipv4 from dhcp (nor connect by
changing "Auto Ethernet" connection to manual settings) but at the same moment
dmesg showed the link was up so I tried ping, didn't work for sure
becausepfff don't know why... then tried arp-scan -I Eth1 --localnet

Updating the BIOS fixed the problem. For now. Last time I upgraded the
BIOS it also temporarily fixed the problem. There seems to be something
that triggers this bug on and off. I guess I'll just have to wait and
file a new bug report if the problem does come back? Thanks for your
patience!

looks like this issue is rather tricky. adding libunwind to build
dependecies actually gives nothing, there is still no dwarf support.
Digging deeper I found that following test, which detects libunwind
support for perf is not passed:
"gcc -o test-libunwind test-libunwind.c -lunwind -lunwind-x86 -
