I have been testing the latest v3.12 kernel and can report that the double
suspend part of the bug is still there.
However, contrary to the 3.11 kernel, all systems seem to be working properly

the times my 5 Dell PowerEdge M915 blades (4x64 Cores Opteron 6274,

and then I run 'modprobe microcode' after the system is

Grub can be seen, but xorg graphics does not work with or without fglrx

Reverting to 12.04 with LTS upgrad
It is working now!
Just tested again with the 2 routers it was failing to connect. I
connected to both of them.
Maybe it was an update AFTER the driver? Maybe a couple of reboots
after the driver installation? I do not know what has changed, but now
I can connect.

I tried fixing broken apt-get -f install
purging, removing the package and nothing helped. I found one working solution
in a forum which bypasses the broken package.
If anyone needs installing anything after this bug occured (while we are
waiting for fix) you need to temporary bypass the brok
So just to sumarize our IRC discussion. The dtb looks good and works great with
the fedora kernel.
The kernel itself boots and gets me past the initrd but hangs randomly a bit
later on (around network initialization time).

Installation, Live and Check disc do not start on Asus
None of the options listed above worked for me.
I have updated kernel to 3.9, installed pm-utils from the link above and

I was unable to test 3.8.13.11-raring because it won't boot with my
LUKS-Crypt Volume, because it does not ask for my passphrase, but tested
with 3.8.13.10-raring and the problem happens with it.
I also tested with 3.11.5-saucy and the problem persists, so I updated
the tags as oriented.

I did a diff on kernel configurations between 3.8.0-29 and -31 and found
minimal, non-essential differences. Scanner works on -29 in ubuntu
environment, but does not work on -31 in xubuntu environment. Scanner
also works on different hardware (my Acer laptop) even on -31
