I was able to consistently reproduce this by: * installing Ubuntu 24.10 and updating and upgrading * setting systemd to default to multi-user.target * mounting the exfat filesystem on the real PCI SD card reader at /mnt (sudo mount /dev/mmcblk0p1 /mnt) * sha256summing each file on it (find /mnt -t
