kernel crashes in CIFS code
Status in linux-signed-hwe-6.2 p
Since upgrading to the 6.5.0 Ubuntu HWE kernel a few weeks ago, I have
not experienced this issue; so it looks like it is specific to the 6.2.0
Ubuntu kernel.

I can confirm that this bug also occurs on Ubuntu kernels:
- 6.2.0-37.38~22.04.1
- 6.2.0-39.40~22.04.1
It does NOT occur on the corresponding upstream kernel 6.2.0-060200.
