Answered in bug 1957055. Kind of. The Nvidia driver wasn't active even when
that was reported.

Please open the 'Additional Drivers' app and install the latest Nvidia
driver that it offers you. I expect it will be version 390 for the
Nvidia GeForce GT 525M. Once installed, please reboot and then tell us
if the problem persists.
