I've seen this same issue on another laptop (Dell m3800) and was hoping it was hardware related but it's not apparently. I believe it's related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1550779. I will attempt to test the upstream kernel but before I do are there any instructions for
