showing up in different places, I think the udev solution makes the most
sense.

http://linhes.org/issues/652#note-3 and modify lcdproc package to
install a udev rules in /lib/udev/rules.d/79-imon-lcd.rules.
I'll tweak the proposed rules to be a little bit more restrictive.
