make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been
fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Saucy Salamander.

However, I clearly pointed to the patch that fixes this issue. It's
fixed in upstream since 3.9.x, and it's still fixed with 3.11. If you
are willing to fix this bug for Ubuntu 13.04, please backport the patch
to Ubuntu's 3.8 kernel.
dac922, could you please test for this in Saucy and advise if this is
reproducible via http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ ?
