Hi, I had the same problem in Ubuntu 18.04 Beta2. What I did was to find the bcmwl related tasks("ps aux|grep bcmwl") and I found there was one something like "rmmod []bcmwl" blocked. I killed it(sudo kill -9 [pid] and I could continue. Now I have upgrade the system. I think it happened to m

This is a bug in the package bcmwl-kernel-source (6.30.223.141+bdcom-0ubuntu2) It still affects the latest Ubuntu. It causes an endless loop where the package won't complete installation and apt won't do anything without the package completing. The solution is as follows(credit goes to another p
