Will the kernel that comes with 24.04.2 resolve the issue? I understand
that the commands I provided above are not a solution, but I've been
enjoying my Ubuntu media center since I run them. Of course, they only
have mini dp to HDMI.

Workaround:
1. Open a terminal.
2. Input ’ sudo nano /etc/default/grub ’
3. Add the following line ’ snd-hda-intel.snoop=0 ’ after the splash in ’
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=“quiet splash” ’
4. Save the changes
5. Input ‘sudo update-grub’ into the terminal
6. Reboot
