The prebuilt packages contain a revert of the patch causing the regression. The
following links contain a kernel with the fixing patch backported from upstream

I have identified the commit needed for fixing the issue: Cherry-picking
commit 2b85886a5457f5c5dbcd32edbd4e6bba0f4e8678 [1] on top of
Ubuntu-3.13.0-30.54 fixes the issue for me (can uploaded pre-built
kernel packages with this patch if needed). Division by 0 in kernel
during resume is apparently n

Reverting the said commit (18442d0) fixes the issue for me too, allowing me to
run (and successfully suspend and resume the computer) with kernel 2.13.0-30
(and the relevant patch applied)

The same issue (no resume after suspend) occurs on my machine as well
(also an inspiron 1525).
