i can confirm this issue on linux 3.19, the fix i found for 3.16 is not working (it freezes the system), at least on a live session i have a G50-30 system, the latest bios as of yesterday i also noticed very poor performance when it is working this is the script i used on ubuntu 12.04.2 w/ 3.16 (
