I have now added the fix permanently. To confirm, I edited the
/etc/default/grub file so the line was;-
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="i915.enable_psr=0"
After the reboot, I have not been able to reproduce the issue, so assume
this is now fixed.

Hi Daniel,
Sorry for the delay in replying. This is my work laptop so I needed to
find the best time to test.
I added 'i915.enable_psr=0' to the kernel, temporarily, and this solved
the issue. When I rebooted without the parameter, the issue returned. So
I will now look at committing the paramete
