Is this fix going to be released for Focal?
I have the same issue with 5.4 kernels in 20.04 and can confirm that the
fix suggested above by realtek fixes the issue?

I am getting this in freshly upgraded Trusty Tahr.
It previsely mirrors the previously reported bug in every respect and I
always get the following kernel disk error when I attempt to resume
after plugging back the power cord in when running on battery power:

The bug is caused by a kernel bug that produces ATA errors resulting in
failed suspend when the power is plugged back in prior to suspend.
