system installs the Nvidia drivers, I think it's nvidia-560, it can't
sign in to boot secure and the installation stops.

I got it working on a 2015 MacBook Air 7.2
From a 23.04 fresh installation it didin't work neither with a 22.04 fresh
installation. I tried all the tricks I found over internet and nothing worked.
I then had first to install an old Ubuntu 20.04 and block the version of the
following packages bcmw
We have a handful of Ubuntu systems logging this warning since rebooting
for kernel updates near the end of May, including:
Ubuntu 20.04 - kernels 5.4.0-150-generic, 5.4.0-149-generic
Ubuntu 18.04 - kernel 4.15.0-211-generic
Warning on 18.04 is just slightly different:
WARNING: CPU: 1 PID: 0 at
Kernel 5.19.0-3035-generic x86_64 has good behavior.
I have not seen the artifacts with this version while performing the
typical workflow that normally caused it to manifest.

32 GB SDHC, Lenovo L480, Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS
SD card newly bought for a simple device, so no manufacturer know. But it works
with a USB card reader.

So in my case, my VM was configured with only 256MB of memory. This
caused no problem on the normal -virtual kernel but caused all sorts of
problems when I installed -lowlatency in the guest.
Upgrading to 384MB solved the problem reliably here, so perhaps this is
not the same thing afterall.
