With the nouveau driver, it still crashes. I can see the kernel messages
again.

Hi penalvch,
thanks for your advise. I upgraded to the latest bios but it still crashes on
resume from S3. With the old bios, I could see kernel messages. With the new
bios, I'm only getting a black screen (backlight on). I can't ping the machine
in this state.
