but on Dell U2415 (and another older Dell model) it does not work. The

I can confirm segfaults after updating the kernel to 3.13.0-59 on
various 64 Bit machines. Its related to shelling out commands from 32
bit executables. In my case its a proprietary program, but its
reproducible with the following steps:

If I try with a Trusty USB-Install Stick (Try Ubuntu) the first
suspend/resume works(!), when i close the lid the 2. time the Indicator

I have an Acer V5-171 running Ubuntu 13.10 , kernel 3.11.0-14-generic
Solution #40 (setpci) works for me reading the card. Writing to card produces
errors.
What is the best place to run the command on startup?
