network is no longer FUBAR'd after resume, as it was with the failed
resumes. (linux-image-3.16.0-4-generic was also unable to suspend, much

Up until about a month ago I was able to suspend and resume or hibernate
and resume just fine. This made me happy since it was the first
distribution of Ubuntu since I built this computer about 6 years ago
which could. Now I cannot even shutdown, unless I ctrl-alt-f1 out of
