I experience the same, in a 13.04 Lenovo Thinkpad X201s with i915 graphics. Updated but not upgraded to 13.10. Latest BIOS flashed yesterday. Problem existed before and after flashing. The following phrase (copied from another comment) describes my experience exactly: "After a few minutes it free

I'm also experiencing the problem, but I CAN go back to different ttys and login/restart from there. Also, while "frozen", ctrl+alt+backspace works to log me off (I have enabled it in the settings). So, I am asking, shouldn't we open a new bug? Chris -- You received this bug notification becaus
