The Bug exists also in 4.4.0-040400-generic.
Tested and downloaded today.
No functional way to wake the eeePC up after standby.

>From Kernel 3.13.x on the eeePC can't wake up from suspend.
After the laptop suspends it can't be reactivated using any of the keys,
the lid or the power switch.
I tested today with the 4.2.0-25-generic , 3.13.0-24-generic and
3.13.0-32-generic.
