No, it has not worked on 12.04, 13.04, or 13.10 using the open source
driver. However, it does work when using the proprietary driver.

For whatever reason the F.48 bios does not work on my machine and I
always have to roll it back to the F.46 release. I've tried updating it
multiple times and windows 8 will not boot, which is kind of ironic
since the F.48 bios update is to ensure compatibility of the laptop
panel buttons with win
