The new kernel 5.7.10 has the ACPI ID for this touchpad added to the elan-i2c-ids.h. See kernel.org: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/tree/include/linux/input /elan-i2c-ids.h?h=v5.7.10 Just adding the device ID did not fix this problem for me but perhaps more change
