(1) However, it did not resolve the issue
* install -f failed
* clean appeared to do nothing
* update downloaded kernel image version 60
* install -f (again) again failed:
I get error messages as before, including
debconf: Perl may be unconfigure
Public bug reported:
Repeated problems with Updatre Manager - apt-get - dpkg.
Appear to stem from a file perl5/Debconf/DbDriver.pm which contains the
errorneous line "use base 1.01 # ensure that they don't have a broken
perl installation". Ironic, eh?
