I had very similar problem.
I installed gnome-user-share 3.14.2-2ubuntu2(for "16.04 Xenial Xerus" package
.deb from https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-user-share ) to my
Ubuntu(15.10 Wily werewolf) machine, then Bluetooth file receiving success.
This workaround not smart, may other effect

I have Asus EeePC 1215B(E-450 CPU) and have same problem.
Suspend and resume works fine but next boot(or reboot) failed. After few
minutes "Reboot and Select proper Boot device" message was displayed.
For my computer normally start, unplug AC cord and wait few minite and plug AC
cord.
