Ok, I see this has been marked as "incomplete", yet that doesn't make
the problem go away.
Can you please tell me what else I need to report, to make it not
"incomplete"?

This seems to be a case of a privious hibernation attempt still being seen? I
cannot find a disk with the UUID being referenced, but neither can I find where
this old
hibernation information is stored.
There are the two lines in question:
HibernationDevice: RESUME=UUID=
I upgraded to Ubuntu 13.04, since I had been meaning to do so for some
time already and the problem has gone away.
The kernel version is now
$ uname -r
3.8.0-30-generic
Since the bug doesn't seem to exist in v3.8 anymore, it is safe to tag
"kernel-fixed-upstream", not so?
