Thank you Daniel. I am indeed using the nvidia driver.
That's the first thing I checked but I canĀ“t find nouveau in the list of
drivers:
lsmod | grep nouveau
Also the output from lspci is the following:
$ lspci -nv | grep nouveau
Kernel modules: nvidiafb, nouveau, nvidia_drm, nvidia
